L'hiver est tres beaux
Je joue dans la nouvelle neige
La neige est tres froide!

Translation in English (please note that the translation may not pay attention to the haiku rules, like the five-seven-five syllablles rule):

The winter is very beautiful
I play in the new snow
The snow is very cold!

Tuesday 15 th November 2011

As the wind brushes by,
as the birds say goodbye,
as the leaves flutter away,
as I say good day,
I look around me,
oh, how wonderful nature can be.

As the trees ruffle and twist,
just as the flowers that I miss,
as my scarf turns around,
as I fall toward the ground.

As the chestnuts fall and fall,
as I call call and call,
as I see a squirrel climbing,
as I see myself writing,
I only know one thing.

It is autumn.

Sunday 30 th October 2011
Gentle breeze, bones at ease,
Squirrels scampering in the trees
Cold lemonade, cards to trade
Watching your sunburn fade
Summer.

Leaves that darken and fall to the ground
Colds spreading all around
Cool walks on weekends, nothing more
Back to school, what a bore
Fall.

Gentle snowflakes fall in the night
The wild geese take their flight
Hoping school will be closed
Warm hot cocoa and days you dozed
Winter.

New awakenings, weak sunlight
Wishing on stars with all your might
Christmas carols stuck in your head
Warm cozy mornings tucked up in bed
Spring.

Seasons come and seasons go,
Through sunshine and through snow
People live, people die
We all laugh and we all cry
Running, running past the strife
Life.

Tuesday 9 th August 2011
Oh young bird
With your feathers unruffled so;
Why do you spend all your time with me
When there are places you can go?

There are other lands than this little place
Beautiful lands of red and green
Lands I want to go to;
Places I have never seen.

You can fly, little bird
Fly up to the clouds,
Surrounded by the blue,blue clouds
Free of pollution and crowds.

So why don't you fly, little bird?
And leave me all alone?
Leave me with my thoughts
No electricity or phone.

There, I have convinced you now,
You're leaving this house and lawn
Off to find someone; maybe yourself
Going, going, gone.

frog limerick

There once was a dog named dog,
who lived in a cloud of fog,
he fell off a cliff,
and he started to sniff,
and he then saw his cousin, named frog.
